About Cruisedag
Cruisedag (Dutch for “cruise day”) answers one question for cruise passengers: what can I do with my hours in port today, and will I be back on time?
Every day a small script reads the public cruise ship schedule of the Aruba Ports Authority, adds an estimate of how many guests are ashore based on ship capacity, pulls the weather forecast from MET Norway, and rebuilds this site.
It is made by a sailor who lives aboard in Aruba. Local tips are checked on the island; tips we have not checked yet carry a being verified label.
Limits
- Port schedules are provisional and can change at short notice.
- Guest numbers are estimates from ship capacity, not actual counts.
- Your ship's all-aboard time is what counts. Always check it in your daily programme.
